The Alimosho Dog Breeders and Lovers Association have finalized plans to organize the first ever Dogs Walk for Breeders and Lovers of Man’s Best Friend, resident within the Alimosho Local government axis of Lagos State, and its environs.

All roads will be leading to the popular Akowonjo Roundabout area, where the Walk, has been scheduled to take off on Saturday, 29th of July 2017 between 7am-10am. Dogs of various breeds are to take part in the early morning walk with their owners.

The Theme of the event is: SAY NO TO ANIMAL CRUELTY.

Besides the 3.5Km walk, the event has been packaged with several fun-filled activities that included games, photo booths, acoustic live music, refreshments, exchange of ideas for dog grooming, training, necessities and accessories among others.

The event, which has been planned to be held twice annually, will henceforth be rotated around communities and neighborhood of Alimosho local government area of Lagos State.

We see this Dog Walk, as a great way for us to spread awareness about our love for Dogs and to also discourage perpetrators of violence against animals.
We also want to use the opportunity of the event, to advocate for stray and abandoned animals, and enlighten the public on how they could be housed, treated and rehabilitated.

The Alimosho Dog Walk is open to public participation, as it promises to be interesting. Nigerians, within the axis and its neighborhood, are enjoined to be part of the epoch making event.
