Yesterday was a fun day on social media for dog lovers, it was the National Dog day (in America). National Dog Day celebrates all dogs, mixed breed and pure every 26th of August. The day was founded in 2004 by Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert and Animal Advocate, Colleen Paige, also the founder of National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day and National Cat Day and many more philanthropic days to bring attention to the plight of animals and encourage adoption in the US.

As you can see from the posts, celebrating National Dog Day can be as easy as giving your four-legged friends a big hug and kiss (if they like that sort of affection) or taking them for a walk. It would be really great to start this tradition in Nigeria.
